HOUSE & PLOT RESEARCH
Ever wandered how old your house is? When it was built or even what was the history of the site before it was built? If you are intrigued by such questions then I set out to discover some answers.




	Research Your Home I want this service to relate to all houses, terraces, semi's, detached, flats - not just what might be considered big and historic.



	For a house that goes back to 1841 or before it is possible to research the occupation history 1841 - 1911, but only if the house name/address has remained the same since 1840s.

a) Initial Survey. I visit your house and do a initial survey. From this survey I make some tentative conclusions and then discuss with you how best to go about your research, what sources of information to home in on and where they can be studied.

b) The Research. I can help and advise throughout your research. Attend with you the relevant archives, if you wish and produce what background material I think is relevant to your area.

c) Report. Obviously you can use the evidence collected in whatever way you wish e.g. wall mounted, box filed, collated in a report. If required I can write a report and present it in an attractive format.
